Hello! I would just like to thank Erik for introducing me to the Wonderland game on the prize pile. I also "
effortlessly blew an hour"
on the demo and enjoyed the clever puzzles and manipulation strategies the game provides. I especially enjoyed the Halph-like "
wee Stinkers"
and the real time play system that keeps you on your toes not too much and not too little. There are many interesting game elements, and the full version is sure to have a truckload more. The graphics are excellent, even if the characters seem a bit happy-go-lucky childish (It sometimes gets annoying to see that infernal smile plastered on the character's face when he's getting blown to bits by a fireplants attacks
). The puzzle element (at least in the demo) is refreshingly toned down from TCB: Abyssian Fortress
, and I recommend it for anyone that is looking for a light-hearted challenge after puzzling away at the more evilish DROD levels. I also like the fact that it is download only, so my mom won't throw away a CD that looks like a virus when it arrives in the mail and I get home two minutes later
. I thoroughly enjoyed the demo, and hopefully I'll win the full version as either a normal or 8-timer prize (nudge, nudge).
P.S. It would be great to have Eets: Emotional on the Prize Pile. I was introduced to the game during the Caravel promotion of it on the download page and I loved it! (harder nudge)
