I like your basement intro, but I thought the basement was in Seattle? Now I know my knowledge of American geography is not very good, but is Seattle in Masachus . . . settes? sets? ets? (sorry! I've forgotten how you wrote it)? The Seattle I was in was, I think, in Washington? :unsure

Oh and why is UrAvgAzn trying to dig his way down into the basement anyway? -_-

Actually, it's known that Erik's basement covers a large portion of the world, extending all the way from Seattle (Erik's home) to Australia (Mattcrampy's home) so it's reasonable that it also spans the US to wherever Ezlo's home is.

Ahaaaaa! I didn't know that! I thought there was a tunnel - a bit like a long dungeon really - between Seattle and Aus.

So - is there a branch of this basement anywhere near Scotland (which is, as every thinking person knows, the real centre of the universe ;) )?

Excellent work, Matthew IV. Thanks for posting the stories. Man, those are good tales. I feel nostalgic. For some reason, they make me want to listen through all the DROD soundtracks right now. As time goes on, the Eighth will only get richer (storywise, not greckle-wise, but maybe that too). I really, really want our future games to be of the same quality or better than what has been released so far. Hopefully, we can keep things moving at a good pace now that the ol' dev team is so busy with life. We need some new blood on the inside willing to put in the hours to keep things moving. I can wish, can't I? Still, I do note and appreciate the efforts of everyone who is contributing such great things to DROD in varied form. It's all awesome.

Just a small request - could you perhaps add a "*NEW*" or the date it was added to the links? I looked for the newest stories at the top as usual and didn't find any, until I noticed them at the very bottom...

EDIT: After searching for loop holes in how to rearrange the stories on the page, I took all the stories down, and then put them up in the desired order. Then I found a widget that switches them around for me.

Doh!

So now the stories are in a better order, the new ones have a NEW! tag, and I fixed a VERY embarrassing typo in the description for Elfstone's story. Instead of "Despite" I wrote "Because." :blush Pure accident I tell you!

Sorry, I just changed that without telling you. :blush I must have misunderstood what you're trying to communicate. I'm not sure what you're trying to say by "Despite me, it got second". It seems to communicate, "Despite everything I tried to do to stop it, it still got second." I apologise for the bad tweak, but I still think this should be reworded.

Well, I ran out of room in the description, but I was trying to convey that even though I felt it should be first, it got second anyway. I'll see if I can reword it a bit better.
