But how did you get into that perpetual bar-clicking state? Playing so much DROD that you can't wait for DROD 3 might possibly be a cause.

Of course, you could just be a random bar-clicker who spends all his time clicking bars, but I would guess that a person who does that for no reason is comparatively rare compared to the abundance of people who spend all (most) of their time clicking the bar for advancing the progress of DROD 3 (note: the abundance of such people is probably also extremely low).

The question is: Is this hypothetical fellow playing too much DROD?

Well, he isn't playing DROD at all, because he's clicking the bar.

The state of clicking the bar must be mutually exclusive with playing DROD unless you have two computers.

Assuming the fellow does not have two computers, he can not simultaneously click and play.

Since he is clicking, he is not playing.

Since he is not playing, he can't be playing too much.

QED.

I went to a bar the other night with my friends. It was taking ages to get served to I kept tapping on the bar. The bartender said: clicking the bar will not cause it to get to 100% faster.

Ok, ok, bad joke.

Actually, this is not true. DROD can be played in a window, and playing the game only requires use of a keyboard. If you open a web browser in another window, it should be possible to keep clicking the bar in the browser window holding the mouse in one hand while playing DROD with the keyboard with the other hand (key reconfiguration can be done to make it easier to play with one hand). One obstacle to this is that clicking inside the browser window will usually set that window to have focus, however, this limitation can be overcome by playing with the window manager settings. (Happy elves tell me Windows doesn't usually have such settings, but window manager replacements for Windows do exist if you look around a bit*).

So, anyway, while we're sharing bad jokes... Ahem.

They look sorta like this image, but slightly darker.

- If you've tried to implement DROD elements in a Doom level. (Made a few trapdoors and a red door once. The red door wasn't real, though. I just put an opening trigger on the last trapdoor on a linear trapdoor path.)

In contrast, I look at everything and wonder if it could be made into a trapdoor puzzle covered with mud and a mud mother so that no new mud babies are broken off on every spawn.

I do with this books, too. Especially novels. I imagine that the contour of the pages is really part of puzzle I described above. When I feel like it, I'll craft the walls of this trapdoor/mud maze out of bombs. It makes things a little more challenging, but not by that much.

A single line of text, of course, cannot represent a single row in DROD (because otherwise mud babies would form too easily). If I'm doing the trapdoor puzzle with tar, then a line of text would have to be tripled (to make the section passable).

I am not joking about this.
