Cats are lovely, but they're obviously quite a responsibility. What are their names?

As for what I got... some nice books, a bottle of lovely wine, and (yes, it's geeky but I love it), the complete Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. All seven seasons

Plus been watching a comedy DVD with family.

We decided to open the presents last night, since everyone was home at the same time at that point. I received several things from my family. Let's see if I can name them all without looking back at the pile.

-Three jars of various types of honey
-A game of Go
-A chess clock
-A ski mask
-Some sweaters
-A new scarf

-About everything I need to play Dungeons and Dragons with my family (dice, two of the three Core Books, the Basic Game, Dungeons and Dragons for Dummies, etc.) My sister, who is a very nice person, will be teaching us how to play the game over the next few days, so this should be pretty fun

Hmm, I've probably forgotten something. Oh well. We all had a great time last night.

I got Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 on Wii, Wii Play + 1 remote, A Nunchuck, Garfield Gets Real, Mario & Sonic at the Olympics, Dewy's Adventure and Trauma Center: New Blood.

I celebrate Hanukkah instead because I'm Jewish, and I received both the DVDs for Sicko and Magical Mystery Tour, as well as a new memory chip for my digital camera.

Well, I got money, money and... money. Thank god there's a few stores here (one even advertises with this) where I can return it for something else...

Oh, and my dad called and said he's having his last bout of chemo therapy early because they couldn't find any trace of his lymphoma anymore... :thumbsup

My wife found it at a retail store in Washington, USA called Silver Platters. It has 4 discs and 30 episodes. We had trouble finding it earlier too, so I was really happy to get it.

I actually like Dilbert the animated show, better than Dilbert the syndicated cartoon. There's more opportunity to have a proper plot. Everything about the animated show--writing, voiceovers, animation--is at the high quality level of shows like Family Guy or Futurama. Well worth tracking down.

1 D&D Campaign Setting Book (will return to buy a Monster Manual instead, I can make my own campaigns, thank you very much.)

A board game called Perfect 10 that looks fun

Pretty good haul if you ask me!

Ah, yeah! I got an Xbox 360, Beautiful Katamari, Mass Effect, and Halo 3. My parents still give me awesome presents even after all the time I've been living alone.

I got the recording studio equipment I wanted. Which includes an 10-track recording interface.

My brother also got an Xbox with guitar hero 3. And I'm addicted. Sorry, DROD.

Main thing I got was a pair of Bose headphones, since I got fed up with cheap ones breaking on me all the time. They're very, very good. My sister tends to get me slightly odd presents - she got me Stephen Fry's autobiography Moab is my Washpot (which is an interesting read) and a leather and pitch medieval-style tankard. With an owl on it. Not quite sure why, but it's quite a nice object
