If you have to pay more for even bigger obstacles, it's almost certainly the same for all other elements as well. I think that serpents and rattlesnakes are the only exceptions.

What about Halph and the Slayer? Can they be used/bought?

I'm guessing no. Unless they never turn to monsters and you've got enough script lines to do whatever you want with them.

Unlimited floors but limited custom floors - does this mean we can use mosaic, dirt, etc. floors but no custom image floors?

Just so you know, I got my Slayer as my surprise

Unlocked Slayer (use him as often as you like but max. 1 per room)

I am using him so he is not for sale and I do not need script I was told just to place him in the room. Sure am glad I bought that surprize.

I still am waiting myself for an answer. MeckMeck seems to be busy. We haven't heard from him very much lately, but I sure am glad he volunteered to do this contest and I can be patient.

Chaco, all of Meckmeck GRE's offers are outdated. Unless there are going to be more, you must buy those trapdoors and obstacles from other people.

The bartering was from 11th to 21st, right? That leaves us with 5 more days for that. (at the moment of posting)

1 Line of Script          : 1,5 Greckels
Secret room               : 20 Greckels
Custom floor              : 10 Greckles
Obstacle                  : 1 Greckle
Spider			  : 1 Greckel
Rattlesnake               : 6 Greckels
Wubba                     : 1,5 Greckles
Crumbly Walls (8)         : 2 Greckles

The Doors : (2 Red Doors / 2 Black Doors) = 20 Greckles
Yet another Compilation : (10 Orthos / 10 Arrows / 6 Tunnels) = 28 Greckles
The cheap one : (3 roaches / 3 tar babies / 3 mud babies / 3 spiders / 1 Queen) = 10 Greckles

Increase your materials ! Ill do a small dice game now. You can bet up to 10 Greckles (or item(s) with the same value). You can bet on even/odd numbers or on a certain number. For odd/even you get the twice value when you win, for a certain number youll get 6x the money you bet. You can only place 1 bet.

Meckmeck, I don't mean to tell you your job or anything, the competitions going pretty well so far, but I'd really appreciate a list summarising what we can use. E.g. is 1 red door 1 tile. Can we use crumbly walls? Etc.
In fact, if you also had a record of what each person has then it would facilitate bartering.

1 red door means simply 1 red door as big as you like. But the game must count it as 1 door.

Well, College has just restarted for me, so it's become rather urgent that I finish up. I'm clearing out my Greckles and finishing up my Hold for a quick turn-in, because I really don't have a choice; the homework's already starting to pile up. x.x;

During the last hold contest I didn't get to beat every room, just not enough time (and some rooms were so hard I still haven't beat them). I decided that this could be a problem this time around too.

So, I am making all my rooms accessible to view. This is for those who just don't have the time, but want to review all the game elements and puzzles I have. I hope everyone has time to play all my rooms but just in case some puzzle was too hard or you had to much work or school stuff to do, I wanted you to see them all.

I hope to encourage others to do the same. :fun

No reason for me not to, I suppose. Anyone-edit shall stay. But I think if anyone wants to beat the entire compilation hold, then it shouldn't be Anyone-Edit.

The puzzles I've got so far aren't really that difficult, they just require thought.

I'm going to have to withdraw from this awesome contest. I entered it before I realized that I would be working 30+ hours a week, AND going to school full time. So, I have no time left to build a decent hold.

So, while I look forward to playing all holds submitted, I won't be making one of my own.

edit: *sigh* I really hate it when I write two sentences in a row beginning with "so".

I suggest that we crush all items that Chalks had into millions of tiny pieces with a huge hammer. :bangin

Giving free stuff that everyone doesn't get equally, is just not a good idea. If you divide everything Chalks had to all contest participants, each person will get so little stuff, it's not even worth it.

If you're still going to share Chalks's items, I'm not going to accept anything.

Hey, I have an idea. Instead of putting the regular Architect's Association seal on our dungeons, how about we put into use a new seal that I designed signifying to those pesky delvers that the puzzles we used to hinder them were constructed with limited resources?

The attached hold shows a seal I was thinking about, though I am open to other suggestions.

I would want some too. Even a few items can mean another good room in my hold. But, I think it should be turned back into MeckMeck and not given to just a few architects who check the forum regularly. This the problem I see with Jacobs solution as well.

Chalks could just sell everything he has at big discounts and then let his Greckles expire.

This still gives those active players an advantage but not as big an advantage if he announces his intentions sets a date for when he will start taking orders then maybe that gives everyone a chance that might be fair enough. (I have only 1 Greckle left so I wouldn't really get anything that is not the basis of my suggestion.) Then even Doom might feel he could buy some stuff.

UPDATE:
Chalks decided to auction everything off but it is listed in the barter tread, he is only taking the 1st 5 PMs so hurry. :-O
