I checked out The Reverse Engineers and they are pretty decent, they remind me of the manic street preachers for some reason.

Sorry, I must be a minute minority.

I listen to techno music, especially if it's freeware. If I find a good freeware game with great background music, I sometimes rip the music from it, convert it to .mp3, and listen to it in... my mp3 player!

especially if it's freeware.
Well, the stacks and heaps of audio CDs next to me weren't free, but I still gladly bought them... :)

Anyway, while they're more on the dub side of things I think you can't really go wrong with Thinner/Autoplate...

(Or Monotonik, for that matter, even though I might be a bit biased (track 2) :D)

I`ve just recently become interested in Bruce Cockburn`s music. He`s a Canadian, and all of his songs incorporate social activism. His music is very calming, very easy to listen to, and the lyrics are suprisingly deep. I`d really recommend listening to some of his songs (You can find some on his website, www.brucecockburn.com)
