I've never heard "anal retentive" used as anything but an insult, which is unsurprising since it implies the subject wants to retain feces, in defiance of most people's attitudes toward feces. Is "full of crap" a dispassionate way to describe constipation, or is it too an insult? Exactly.

Hi, everyone. We just got another piece of cool work done for "Gunthro", and so the bar moved. Often it's just ticking off the usual tasks that you would expect would be involved in producing a game, so we haven't really taken the time to spell these out, but I'm actually fine about the dev team spilling details about anything they feel particularly inspired to share at this point. Sorry everyone's having some trouble here in this thread, and I hope it can all get worked out soon.

I'm working hard to try to get the game done, and after such a long time in the making, with the usual expected number of temporary setbacks, I'm glad we're finally at the 90%+ point and that there's a level of excitement rising for the upcoming release(s)!

This being said, I should point out that there are several individuals on the Caravel dev team working hard to make Pure Awesomeness as we speak. I can't claim hardly any of the credit here -- skillz is skills, after all, and they have it. I think we'll soon be at a point where we can share the fruits of these labors.

And a big thank you to all Caravel forumites for your patience, and for hanging out while the waves have been calm and our craft was in the doldrums.

Hey, if where I work an order for an external hard drive to back up my work notebook can take more than 4 months to finally arrive the pace here is hectic in comparison...

Well, I remember DROD the other day, and I see that there's two bars going active. And I can't figure out the DROD 4 riddle, or at least the format for the answer. And I'm not entirely certain as to how to find out. Is there a list of hints anywhere?

Ask yourself, what does the riddle look like, how do you normally solve this kind of stuff, and what would be a good way to write the solution down if somebody asked you to, without making it too long. Yes, this is exactly the format.

I have also solved the bar puzzle - well, when I say I've solved it I actually mean I've just read the last few pages of this thread which basically gives you the answer...

So thank you everyone for your pioneering spirit and selfless attitude in sacrificing your hard-earned LEDs just so I can waltz in at the end and claim the glory

Is it possible to get LEDs before solving the current sword puzzle? I haven't been able to find any of them, but I'm getting plenty of swords...

Are you sure you are clicking the other bar? LEDs are made available only after some time, ie. once in a while a new pack of LEDs will be added to the bar, and the first person to click will get them.
So clicking the bar repeatedly won't help much .

So there are some number of bottles of leaf juice on the wall. I take one down, pass it around, and yet the next time I look, the number has increased instead of decreased. Is someone racking them up on the wall faster than I can drink them?
