Ok, if nobody finds any more bugs I'll submit this to the HAs later this week.

I like the new room better too, without so many distractors. Is this how you wanted me to do it?

With the room replaced, I can now finish the hold. It's a much better room, assuming that it's OK that I can change the mimic's sword direction before bringing the goblin in.

The briar room is very nice also. No complaints - I ended up with more room between myself and the goblin than I needed, but that's probably a result of the timing restrictions.

I think you are overthinking it.

Yep, intended. Though CSR's solution is much cooler.

Like the hold a lot and think it's ready for submission.
As stated before, though, you can do without the 2 speed potions in the mirror room.

I was about to say, yeah, go ahead and submit, but then I found two minor unintended "solutions" that HH may want to correct before submitting.

1E can be conquered by dropping the goblin off the raft and exiting north. This can be prevented by placing a south force arrow near the power token.

1N2E can be conquered by letting the briar kill the goblin and exiting east. This can be prevented by placing a west force arrow at (34,18) or someplace along the entry path.

I know I mentioned it before, but I think adding some more visuals (rocks in water, islands with trees, islands without trees, and so on) could be a nice touch.

Big thumbs up!

I have just noticed something though, it does not qualify as bug but is plain weird for me. If you enter the 1N, the goblin does not appear until after you step on (16,30), allowing you to walk on (17/18/19,31) freely. It looks worse if you enter the Entrance from the North, as the Goblin appears when you step (16,1) so you can walk safely on the 3x2 rectangle which is weird. Similar thing applies to 1N3E and 3E. I know this is nitpicking, but on the other hand fixing this isn't too time consuming :).

Actually intentional. In 1N3E f'rinstance you can manipulate the mimic a little before the goblin even enters.

Doesn't it? It's working fine for me... which scroll?

Thanks all for pointing that out. Is it fixed now? (for some reason my computer seems to show an abnormal amount of text in scrolls...)

Well, I found a way to kill the goblin in 1E (with the force arrow). All you have to do is step on this area of the platform;

ooo
oox
o

And then move down one space. He'll fall into the lake and die.

Nice hold, though.
