PS : Caravelgames Team is so good at level desgin,so I could not put the option(MegaCreatorOfDRODAndTooGoodArchitech....) because it could take more than 300 letters!

Hey, he invented the word, let him be the judge. He can be a good architech (and a good architest) if he wants, no matter what anyone else says.

Being a good architect on the other hand DOES require listening to testers, so he's not there yet. And being a good arketict requires being able to dance a one legged polka in a thunderstorm so he's probably not there yet either. (See what I mean about inventing words?)

I've suggested something along these lines before, and seems like here's a good place to say it again: I think we should have architect rankings.

It could actually be calculated from hold scores.

We've got high scores for playing rooms. I tend to make rooms more than I play them, so would enjoy that more.

It would also be an incentive for people to make better rooms and would give people a good idea of whose holds are worth playing.

I wonder if there could be a system for ranking individual rooms for fun and brains and it would somehow interact with the existing overall fun and brains rating as well. Maybe only for required rooms too, otherwise all those empty rooms in the beginning of Beethro's Teacher will spoil the rating.

Yeah! I would like an option to rank individual rooms. Would be interesting both for Architects and player to know what DRODers likes.

I suggested that a bit ago, and I think it's a great idea. You could also be able to sort the best rated rooms in the holds you have played, so if you want to try one, you can just load the hold and restore.

I would consider myself averagly good. I'm neither a newbie nor one of the "star architects". I guess the word good fits to most people around here. Keep in your mind that you can also consider a newcomer whose first hold scores 5 point somewhat a relativly good architect.

I would rate myself as "good", too. My holds aren't very tricky, but quite enjoyable, I think. They get something about 5 brains and 5,5 fun.

So, "good".

(and I would rate the architest as newbie)

If my puzzles are fantastic looking it doesn't mean that they're perfect.

Also, if you can't solve any of my rooms it doesn't mean that they're perfect either.

Although I'm quite glad you think they're perfect.

I can't make a DROD puzzle worth beans, but I would consider myself a fairly good Dark Scriptmaster. I've always enjoyed games with level editors and scripting engines that you can do almost anything with.

Fixed. Drod has a level editor that the crators used! u can do everything that creators could!

It is true that you (13th Slayer) quite often express yourself in a way that many finds odd, but as far as I can see you aren't doing it on purpose. Snacko sure has a lot of experience on the subject, but I do believe there is a certain limit to how bad your reputation can be as well, and after you hit rock bottom no amount of horrible posts can make it any worse.
