Another thing to remember is that once someone gets all 10 goodies, they aren't getting any more, ever. (Well, unless we put more in or something, which I doubt.) So that's one less person to compete with everyone else.

A technical question, related to the "99.7% of server traffic" thing. Should I really have to reload the page after each bar click, or is there something wrong with my browser settings? (firefox 1.5, WXP)

Yeah, you have to reload after each click. It helps slow down the rate of clicking. I don't know how much it really affects the server traffic.

Well, the problem before the reload was enforced was that you could just click the bar as fast as possible, sending crazy amounts of requests to the server every second. This happened at least once, and the server didn't really like it.

One of the messages you get from clicking the bar is that "Out of x clicks, y people are equipped to solve the Riddle of the Bar." Coincidentally, y is always equal to the number of people who have 10 goodies.

Or you could just read this entire 17-page thread for your answer as well. (As to the Riddle's existence, that is, not its solution.)

Yeah, that's pretty much it. I think most of the solvers figured out the solution before they got the last goodie themselves, but you can't actually see the secret until you get all 10.

No, really, if you get a tar baby next your bar by getting a message that say that the tar baby slimes you for x damage, and then you click on the tar baby that is next to the bar, weird stuff happens.
