I'm enjoying this hold so far (haven't come much further than Snake Pits either), but I have a few things to mention:
Snake Pits:
- 1S2W: I have absolutely no idea what I was supposed to do here, but I don't think it's what I have done (see attachment).
- 2S2W: No need to drop the red gates at all. Just lead the snake over (10,2), step on the conquer token and kill the snake wherever you like.
- 2S2E: Haven't been quite as lazy as Red-XIII, but didn't use the mimic potion, either. Actually, I can't think of how to use it anyway. Red herring?
- 1S: Nice, but could use at least one checkpoint. (1S2E and 2S1E are also missing them, though I think it's not quite as bad with them).
Pumping Station: Amazing minimap-art; however, the unusable room exits are slighly irritating.
Fresh Water Lake: Severe backtracking issues: if you enter the central area without either conquering 1S or 5S, you can't get back again. And well, yeah, that's where I stopped playing
Gonna restore now, though, and continue.
Anyway, beside of these issues I've really enjoyed playing this hold so far; especially the minimap-art is very well done!
