Whoa, hey now.
First of all: if it makes you happy, you should do it, regardless of how "
good"
or "
bad"
you are. I suspect I'm a truly terrible singer, but I sing in the shower because it makes me happy. (Now, there is a converse: I don't sing in public, because my singing isn't especially well-received. You might some day decide to stop sharing your comics; but that doesn't mean you should stop drawing them.)
Second of all: everything takes practice and experience. I've heard any number of writers laugh at reviews that refer to their debut published work as a "
first novel"
--they always say that, no, this is their first
published novel, but it's novel six or seven, usually, because the first five or six they wrote were terrible and are now safely locked in a trunk under the bed. If this is the best you can do, keep improving (which I'd say to anyone, no matter how accomplished they are; one should always keep improving).
So ignore Dex's rather uncalled-for comment. Now, that said, I have to admit that I don't particularly like this first comic of yours; style aside, there's just not much to it, contentwise. That's my opinion; that doesn't mean you should stop.
