It seems I'm not getting *it*. I have accepted the Quest at the U-Man, but I don't see what else I'm supposed to do now. Let's see what rooms I'm stuck in:

- Temple Garden 1S 1W: I can only enter from the south, so it won't work.
- Maguig's Desert 1S: I can only enter from the south, but I can solve the room. Except I'm stuck then.
- Maguig's Desert 3S 1W: Beethro said something about a portable orb. I guess that's what I need, but like he said, I have *no* idea where to find one. I visited all the rooms I have access to, and got 14 secrets, but that's about all.

I hope the path is not hidden with "secret" walls, as earlier in the hold. Or am I just overlooking something the size of a small blackhole?

I'd say you're overlooking something the size of a small stairway. When you've cleared the room, the red statue on the stairs will turn green.

In Winter Factory 1S1E, I'm almost entirely certain that the last pattern that the blue guy does doesn't match the one he wants me to do (there's a spot where he waits 2 turns but I needed to wait 3).

Alright, mastered.

The concept illustrated behind the Master Wall is very, very cool. :)

I'd have to disagree with jbluestein's opinion that Temple Gardens 1N1W is the hardest room; I'd say Dungeon Cells: The Entrance (after beating the Pit) is the hardest room.

I've tried it with 2.0.15 and 2.0.14, and both statues disappear. Looks like a game bug, then, so you may want to mention it over on the Bugs board.

EDIT: I'm playing the JtRH version, so a bug in the KDD version maybe.

Mastered the hold!

Overall, this is an excellent hold. Not perfect - for one, it has far too few checkpoints, and I didn't like the occasional tar maze and secret wall maze. And, as mentioned above, the difficulty fluctuates a bit too much at some points. But all these issue pale in comparison to the wonderful scripting feats, and great storytelling.

9/10, 6 brains.

I'm excited to see what Geomatrx will be able to do once he gets his hands on DROD 3.0 :)

With what Geo's been able to put out so far, I wouldn't be surprised if he could do an accurate rendition of the Milkman's mind from Psychonauts. If you don't know what I'm talking about, you NEED to play that game. That level alone is worth the entrance fee. And the rest of the game is fantastic as well.

Well, now, hey...I didn't say it was the hardest room. I haven't conquered the hold yet. I just said that it was an evil puzzle. And it turns out that I missed an easier way to solve it. Were the only solution the one that I had found, the room would definitely count as an evil room. As it is, it was only evil for me.

Mastered it! It's the best hold I've ever seen, it has everything: Fantastic scripting, good storyline, very good puzzles and even a few minigames!! The thing you get to see when you mastered it is a fantastic concept and looks very promising. This sure is a hold everyone should have played at least once, I gave it a 10 rating and a 7.5 brains.

Amazing hold, scripting, everything.

To me, it's like playing a different game, if that makes sense.

Since I haven't rated any holds ever, it would be unfair for me to do so with this one, suffice to say it would get top marks :)

Still struggling. Wandering lost around the forest, unsure what to do next. (Feel free to PM with advice.)

But: I recently played MetDROiD Prime, and enjoyed it more than I had expected (I think I had a bad experience with the first one, and had delved briefly into Prime before getting stuck). And I'm enjoying this one even more. I've got huge amounts of respect for geomatrx for putting this together; the thought that went into the geography and the scripting are both impressively immense.

You can always find a checkpoint, walk on and off it a few times, restore to the last item you got and check what it opened up, then restore back to where you are now.

Geomatrx, what is the inscription on the Winter factory 1S3E and 2S3E? Being displayed on the mini-map screen, the passages in these rooms form some kind of hieroglyphs arranged in two columns. Or should I go and see psychiatrist? :-)

Superb hold, I enjoyed every second of it, even searching for the last few secrets. My only slight gripe is that the big boss combat rooms could have been a bit shorter and a bit richer in checkpoints.

I'm heartily looking forward to the sequel. You do need to come up with a title though. :P
