Hmm, no wonder that wasn't working. I hadn't thought to consider that maybe each user had seperate key configurations. ;)

Ok. I'm signing. My room is already ready, so it's a matter of copy&paste and i'm done.

No, it's Kevin's. But you can add your name to the queue if you want.

Jeff Ray typed:
Ok. I'm signing.
which is really confusing and could be misinterpreted in many ways. What he should have typed was:
I'd like to go next, after the other architects, please.

Sorry - that's my fault. I didn't realize movement keys were stored in the player file. (Those are the keys I use - I have a laptop, and therefore no numpad).

Well, here is my room anyways. Chaco stole my spot, so I had to improvise. And you can thank him that it's just a little bit harder than it was... :)

Thanks - yes, it's fairly challenging, at least for me!

Edit: By the way, do you think the different floor by the entrance makes it obvious where the trapdoors are for those who don't have transparent tar/mud?

After a few spawns it's rather difficult to tell where the original 5x5 blocks of mud were. One way to solve this is to put a single fuse on top of the trapdoor so the mud doesn't grow over it. However, this saves time in that you don't need to cut mud by that.

Alternatively, just reveal the trapdoors at the start, and then after the first spawn they are covered again.

I have transparent tar - it's basically a necessity if you want to play Deep Hold.

I know - but I don't know what a good solution is. I thought about just leaving the trapdoor squares empty at the start, but 1) It's really no better than the current way, and 2) It is possible to get to the first mud block before the first spawn, making it much easier to get to the first trapdoor (and then the others).

However, they are all the same position relative to their respective corners (the 5th square diagonally from the corner). Maybe that's good enough?

By the way, what order did you drop the trapdoors in?

pass. took longer because of a preoblem which deleted all of the room's data. I had to make this instead.

Ok, i'm sorry for the boringness of the mud cleaning part, but the tar only looked too simple.

1) At least one checkpoint would be fantastic. Preferrably several (such as maybe one in each corner?)

2) Having an unopenable yellow door with secret walls leading around it isn't clever. It isn't funny. It doesn't have a point. There's no reason to do it. Just don't. The tar is quite useless as well, but not as inappropriate as the yellow door.

Sorry, I don't mean to be rude. But it really makes me mad when people do that...

I'm utterly confused -- A master list of the room queue would greatly help. (say, in the topic post).

There is no way to estimate how long it would take for my turn to come up if I sign up right now, and I'd hate to destroy the gait of the thread...

That is true - we have mentioned it, but Canadian_Army would need to do that, and apparently hasn't as of now.

I believe there is currently no queue, so if you wanted to make a room, you can go ahead.

And I will go again after you, I suppose :)

Something simple, just to change the mood a little bit :)

I don't know if this has been done before -- if it has, tell me, I'll put in a new room as soon as possible.

One less room in my idea bin, one more room for you :P

Really? I destroyed the mud blob first, then killed the tar blobs one by one.
