×Chaco: It was neat, but I really don't see that much of a use for it. I gave it an 8.

Tokyokid: It was a bunch of arrows to force the bomb explosion away, that's nothing new. I gave it a 4.

Jeff_Ray: I couldn't get the door to open! I killed the bugs and waited a bit, but nothing happened! I gave it a 4 as well.

Hikari: Umm. It was a Thwomp like in Channel One Suite. I gave it a 6.

Timo: You blatantly broke the rules. You have to have only one idea in four rooms, you had five! I gave it a three because the brain was cool.

Me: I gave it a 10 because I was forced to by the rules. But if I was seriously judging, I would give it a 8 because it's way to complicated to use often.

Lst6: I could see myself using this! Very nice! I gave it a 9.

Niccus: Ummm, they look pretty? 7.

Technology Faire Entry by Chaco - Cool. Useless yet fun. The 1-turn delay can probably be fixed, at least for people who have 2.0.15 and can use wait 0, but that's a minor quibble. 8/10

Technology Ultimate Sheild by Tokyokid - Disappointing - It's not really a new technology at all, just a hold that takes simple element interaction and makes a small technology-based story around it. I don't think it fits in this contest. 1/10

Space Invaders Remake by Jeff_Ray - I liked this one very much - like Chaco's entry it uses DROD as a place for something else, this time a pretty decent space invaders-type game. It's a bit buggy (I managed to get all of the surviving invaders stuck on the right edge once), but fun. The room exit mechanism could use a little more polish, but again, that's a minor quibble. 9/10.

Tech Fair Guard-a-splode by Hikari - Like Tokyokid's entry, this one doesn't actually introduce any real new technology, but rather does something banal and adds a story. 1/10

Technology Hold by Timo006 - This one was a small anthology of not-too-original ideas. The "sword arrow" room doesn't even seem to work right, since the mimic can move which affects sword directions. 2/10

Beethros Tech-Know-Logical Voyage by Ezlo - Nice widget by Ezlo. Room entrances as states is not too original an idea, but it's a well-polished execution with the inventory display and the simple puzzles to make it interesting. I prefer entries that make non-DROD widgets using DROD, but this is a good entry regardless. 7/10

Entry #7 Technology contest entry by Lst6 - An ok in-game widget, but mimic based clocks aren't that original or exciting. 5/10

Entry #8 Streamers by Niccus - So, this one made DROD slow down pretty badly on my computer but it's probably the most original one in the crowd. It was the only one which really surprised me in that it never would have occured to me to do anything like it. 9/10

×Chaco: I gave a 7 becuase it was cool, besides for the delay. I probobly wouldn't of used it.
Tokyokid: Yeah I got a 10, but I probobly deserve a 3. I didn't put much effort into it
Jeff_Ray... got a 9. He would've gotten a 10 if 9 roaches didn't get stuck.
Hikari: a 2. It was o.k.
Timo got a 4 becuase of the brain room.
Ezlo got a 5 becuase I couldn't make it out of the entrance. The gate wouldn't open. So I had to check it in the editor.
Lst6 got an 8 for the innovative timer. It was nice too!
And my favorite, Nicuss, with 10! I loved the streaming effect. I was speechless as I watched it. Great job!

×This was my entry, so I gave it a 10.

×I didn't really like this one - it isn't very original and felt more like an advertisement than new technology. I gave this a 4.

×This was sort of cool, but it wasn't that hard for me to win. On top of that, the door didn't open. I give this a 3.

×The concept was okay, but I think the fact that it only had one function hurt it a lot. This earned a 5.

×Some okay concepts, but the hold feels very rushed and unpolished. Also, the Quizzer... no. Just no. This earned a five just because technically it worked, and the eye puzzle was alright.

×For some odd reason, this didn't work - after I killed all the roaches the guard didn't open the door no matter what I did. Thus I gave this a 3.

×Eh. It was an okay idea, but there's no other use than to make a timer. Also, the sword clashing was annoying. However, I did think the implementation was kind of nifty, as well as the ability to watch or play it yourself. This got a 6.

×Wow. Really, really cool. Not only did you define a completely original concept in the first room, but you did everything you could to make it comfy for the viewer. My only gripe is that it's non-interactive. Still, this earns a great 9 from my end.

×Entry 1 Chaco: Score 9. Nice entry! But I found a bug which prevented it from being a perfect 10 score. The demo is attached. Notice how there's that one crumbly wall that stands.
Entry 2 tokyokid: Score 8. Cool!
Entry 3 Jeff_ray...: Score 10. My favorite. I really loved this one!
Entry 4 Hikari: Score 5. It was okay. Not that impressive though.
Entry 5 Timo006: Score 3. Isn't it supposed to be one idea? Not 4? It was nice anyway.
Entry 6 Ezlo: Score 8. This would be a good feature for a nice, big, hold. Nice entry.
Entry 7 Lst6: Score 7. It was nice and is a very good idea.
Entry 8 Niccus: Score 6. Didn't see much use for it. It was entertaining though.

×Very very nifty! There's a puzzle potential (albeit it'd a bit too much work to put into a single puzzle ), and it certainly awed me.

×Hah, elegant. Wouldn't have thought of this method... A little more tinkering would've allowed for multiple shoots in one column (though I'll admit it'd be quite a bit of coding, like, a lot of coding)... My only problem is that the first time I playe d through it, the roaches got stuck on the right end. Subsequent playthroughs proved to be bug-free though.
Then there's the long wait before the opening... You may also want to mark the lower part of the area where the roaches won't go through -- just use a different tile.
The roaches' formation in the beginning looks sloppy :/
Still, 7/10. Liked it.

×Hehe, simple and sweet Reminds me of my hold in progress, though you certainly could've went ahead and squeezed a little more out of the simple thing.
Just... not nifty in the spirit of the contest, at least that's what I thought it is.
Good storytelling though. 5/10

I don't think I would've thought of using an explicit physical timer (takes space, etc), this convinced me otherwise
You can see progress, you can trigger things other than using regular doors more easily, and it creates a feeling of pressure.
Nice of you to script the demo, too.

×What, do you expect me commenting on my own entry?
It's possible to give a better sense of depth with extensive coding and making one-tile spacings between each streamer element, but it'd be a nightmare to manage. Go ahead and try if you want, use Appear and Disappear, and remember that the order of the characters being placed matter.

× I loved it, I would have given it a 10 if it were by 1 bug I found , on my 2nd try some roaches stacked up and didn't move so it was way to easy to get them. But you got from me a 9

×The only two things that made me not give you a 1 are that you included more ideas and the only good or not bug free idea, the invincible brain. The rest was or buggy or not interesting. A 4 you get.

×Only 2 things to say,a 10 due to the rules, and then about the annoying sound of the swords. Abot that i planned that so that in makes more pressure and reminds you of the clock, but if you dont want it then simply move the guards one square further of the clock, and that's it.

×Cool effect, but rated a bit lower because it is only that, a effect with no other application, a 7
