Okay, since the smallest an object can be is 1 tile, what would be required to have a 1-tile spool of duct tape? Let's find out!
One tile is five feet by five feet, as Danforth Strout will easily point out to you.
For simplicity, we'll assume the duct tape is 10 millimeters thick.
Google Calculator tells us that we need a 76-layer spool.
So, we'll construct a cylinder of duct tape of radius 2.5 feet.
Now, since a 1-inch radius spool that's 10 millimeters thick covers 60 yards, a 2.5 foot radius spool, the type you would find in dungeons, should cover 30 times the length, or 1,800 yards, or 600 feet, or exactly 120 tiles.
