I know almost anything about html, but that generates the bar, the ":" link. And then, the "Today's active posts." and "Mark all posts as read" links.

This isn’t the code, of course; it just shows the results of the PHP document, combined with data, into HTML. I know little about PHP, and I probably couldn’t access the source code unless I asked.

You'd a better not be doing that, boy, or bad things happen. We *all* remember what happened when Matt and I tried that stunt. You know what happened? This happened. Plus, creating a sock puppet account goes against the forum rules. It's one thing to make an admin mad by misspelling his name, but it's another to create an account using his misspelled name. Where's the love, I say?

I remembered that, I just didn't know what it was for. Rabscuttle also had it for a while.

I just figured it'd be sort-of funny, and you guys could trace IPs anyway. But if it's that big a deal, I won't cause a riot or anything if you delete the account.

The code is reeeaaallly simple. It just sends a request, and the PHP returns a popup command. This also unloads the request script, making you have to refresh. And goodies are also simple. Schik just took a pay-to-order jscript for the moving, and then used simple PHP to generate the rest. Not complex, unlike the CaravelNet coding.

Yes, I know this is an old post I'm quoting but I now know why this happened to me.

Anyway, if you are viewing "Today's Active Posts" and then click on the "CaravalNet Forum" banner thingy the bar is not clickable.
Happens every time - it's just taken me a while to figure out what I've been doing to make the bar non-clickable

Well, now that I've become a bar devotee, it quits responding. (Maybe it's my own private stone Buddha.) I can click it fine at work - something most rational employers would rather I didn't do - and it worked fine here at home until yesterday. Now it just sits there, staring back, no matter how many times I refresh, close, or open the browser.

I do have javascript enabled . . . anybody else encountering this phenomenon?

(IE6, Windows ME here)

and a little suggestion on how to get that many: your better off clicking on every time it is convenient to, instead of just doing lots of refreshes and clicking on it like mad.

It's all random. As mentioned earlier, it's better to click at random intervals in time than to click 200 times in one session.

The best way of getting goodies is as follows:

The number of times you clicked the bar should be equal to the number of times you didn't click it.

A good way to get goodies is:

1. As soon as you log in, click the bar.
2. Do you see that icon above that says "CaravelNet" or "DROD.net"? Instead of pressing your browser's back button or typing "Alt+Left Arrow," go back to the main page to get to wherever you need to go. Every single time you're at the main page, click the bar. By clicking at "random intervals," as gamer_extreme_101 wrote, you'll get goodies occasionally.
3. Goodies happen about 2 to 3 hours.

Its 00.30 here, and the bar keeps me from my sleep

i have 9 goodies - i should have the last one on wednesday, then i will try to solve the bar.

not too sure where to begin though, as the sequence i had for eight will be very different to one i have now of nine (i can't make any more interesting comb's by just moving the new eye i have)

I have some possible answers for 10 goodies, but we will just have to wait and see...
