It's been a while... I decided to make this in my spare time. This is a small project which should have 1 to 2 levels tops. To contrast with my more recent releases, I'm trying to make this one of the harder holds out there. And there are a few rooms that are really difficult, so don't say I didn't warn you!

There's one level complete so far, there might be a second one if I decide to. In the editor, I've got several rooms that are either impossible or deemed unworthy of being included. You may give them a try if you wish.

And no, I'm not cancelling Riddles! :P

How many turns did it take you to complete 1S1E? And no, this isn't how I solved 1W. Your solution, compared to mine, seems simpler but a lot more tedious.

I'm still stuck really early in the hold. I always am. I never play through holds fast enough to give good advice on the Architecture board! :facepalm

By the way, how do you pronounce "mxvladi"? I say it "M. X. VLAD-ee".

Here's some notes I took while I played through the hold.

Overall, I'd like to say that these puzzles are really neat. Although I don't think they really have any kind of unifying theme, each of them were pretty interesting to solve and were good exercises of a lot of different DROD skills - monster manipulation, horde management, efficiency, etc.

I think these are all at the perfect difficulty for either a one-level hold or the first or second level of a multiple-level hold.

Thanks for your comments Chaco! I didn't manage to get the demos to work, but I heeded your advice and added checkpoints in the tar room. I made your sneaky solution to 1W impossible as well! :sneaky

Don't have much to add. I find that people tend to leave feedback when holds get updated, and not many people even comment in architecture -_-

Anyway, here are some initial thoughts:
1E - pretty easy
2E - good, although the lynchpin is immediately obvious
1S - I liked this, it's fun to find the correct order to kill the nests
1S1E - found this much harder than 1S, took me while to find the correct path through the eyes.
1N - I don't like horde rooms much, so naturally I found this tedious (but others will probably like it)
1N2E - I found this a bit tricky, but doable

Finished! This is rather a change of pace for you, Jeff. Large open rooms based on efficiency and manipulation rather than fine details. While some of these rooms have lynchpins, most are more about strategy.
