We all have nightmares. For example, level thirteen in King Dugan's Dungeon is a nightmare. An entire level, made of rooms and rooms of the most annoying puzzle of all: Mazes.
But really, what would be more scarier?
I think what would be the scariest hold for me would be...
One hundred maze rooms.
That are transparent.
So, what do YOU think will be the scariest hold?

Bavato's Dungeon or Beethro's Teacher probably.
Think I completed about a room in each before giving up.

You probably wouldn't like Figure or Ground.

Much as it pains me to agree with Jatopian, I...I...I agree with Jatopian!

L13 was No Fun.

Figure or Ground is one of the Best Holds Evar.

Although, more on topic:

I found 'A Quiet Place' to be an extremely scary hold. the first few rooms put a lot of immediate pressure on you, and that just made me feel all tense.

It didn't keep that tension level consistently high throughout, but still...an excellent hold.

I may be wrong, but I think he was making a joke.

I agree that A Quiet Place qualifies. The very worst room for me was Fifth Level: Something Northeast. In it, you have to do part of a trapdoor puzzle with diagonals and part without, and the switch had to be in a specific place (caused by hitting an orb which freed a mimic and so on). Before you realize that, it doesn't look too bad, relatively speaking, but once I understood that... :look ouch.

EDIT: It's still my favorite AE hold, though.

I am still working on the sequel, although I will likely finish Floor 44 first.
