Should conquerable rooms stay at a reasonable level of difficulty? I could've made a lot nastier things to the room...

Doom, posting a screenshot is great, but could you also post the hold file? Otherwise people will have to manually copy changes to the holds, and that's no fun.

As to difficulty, my original idea was that lots of simple elements would be added bit by bit in order to make a fiendishly difficult room. But if you can make some simple change to an unconquerable room and make it conquerable but horribly difficult, I say go for it!

Added trap door inside goblin's cave to prevent mimic/decoy placement and also removing possibility of dropping red doors.

Current state: Unconquerable?

Looks pretty unconquerable to me. I've added a crumbly wall below the goblin cave and a modest trapdoor maze for the mimic. Room is once again conquerable. I've updated the screenshot at the top of the thread.
