Psst...
Clue 3: If you've already solved the first part of the puzzle, it's time to think about the game and the real world.

22 reveals... an M! That's right, 21 22 and 23 each had an M... I'm so unoriginal sometimes. With an A and P you can get a DROD map, or with a U and G you can get a mug. Again, I'm really original.

New puzzle soon!

Well, I was hoping that the answer would make me think 'oh, of course!'.. but I'm afraid it didn't. It just doesn't seem to describe tar in DROD at all.. (or tar in real life, for that matter) but oh well. Better luck next time, I guess.

I find it incredibly unlikely that we could make a logical leap from paper to cigarettes.

For posterity, I came up with the idea far before DiMono did, in a forum-based riddle I contributed to. I was able to decode the message rather rapidly, but then the riddle got me. :/

EDIT:

Going back, I made it on July 23, 2005 09:52 am. I think that's before DiMono made this.

I'd show you guys the original post, but it's in a password-protected forum as part of the forum riddle.

Well I've only just noticed this thread, but looking at those numbers I can only conclude that the answer has to be tar?

What I was expecting was for the riddle to be uncovered, and then my clue of "think about the game and the real world" to be taken literally. Only two entities can move up and down at the same time in the game, mud and tar when they expand. After that it's about figuring out uses for each in the real world that may involve paper of some kind. Tar is used in cigarettes.

Ah, I see. I guess it confused most of us because in DROD it's North and South, not up and down. Especially for those of us who went to the Dreamplane or played Caverns of Animus ;)

Well, I was looking forward a new riddle too, and so long waiting is where I had the Idea to mix this and tokyokid's game, and, well, you can appreciate the result. But I would be happy to get here a new riddle soon to figure out.

Sadly, the Prize Box is on hold right now because I lack the free time to come up with worthy puzzles. If anyone has puzzles they would like to suggest (that don't have commonly known answers; puzzles you've come up with on your own are preferable), please send them to me via PM and I'll see if I can put them here.
