I'm enjoying this hold so far but this one has me ripping my hair out. I assume I have to open the doors and get to the lower of the two trapped queens before she spawns enough roaches to close the door in my face. Problem is whatever I try fails dismally. Any pointers would be gratefully received!

This is, I think, the hardest room in the hold. What it's doing on level two is beyond me.

Anyway, as you may have guessed this room requires some strong efficiency. You've also noticed that the pressure plate at (32, 9) is really far away, and it would take Beethro a long time to get to it and back...

...so you should send someone else on a one-way trip to go press it.

stuck at turn 88 have 2 queens at top 1 at entrance. I'm 1 move short of killing queen at entrance, step into entrance to drive queen to plate and make it back to lower passage before door closes. can someone give step count, sword position?

In my least optimal victory demo, I step on (17,14) for the second time on turn .

I kill the entrance queen on turn

I kill the uppermost western queen on turn
