My January contest entry.

Have you escaped from The Crimson Room and solved the mystery of the Viridian Room? Well, now you can try the Cerulean Room!

So that there would be something to compare for high score purposes, I've included a timer that gives you 10,000 moves to complete the room. This is very generous, so I highly recommend that for your first playthrough you just explore until you find all the necessary bits and pieces to complete your escape, post your score

and then go back and try to optimise it. Good luck!

Interesting.

I'm playing this as someone who played through the first half of Tendry's Tale, got bored, and hasn't touched the RPG engine again. It looks like what you can do is quite impressive..

puzzle. That got me stumped. I've tried almost everything (the other things I haven't probably have the solution but I don't know what they are). Still, good work. Maybe I'm just too tired.

I've uploaded a fixed version; both the speed and invisibility potions can now be taken without your previous accessory vaporising.

Because of the unusual format of this contest. Most participants did not build holds, so there will be no compilation, but I chose to build a hold. So I'm putting my entry on Architecture so that it can be submitted to Holds afterwards (after I've taken time to make further amendments, of course).

I can't get the handbombs, because none of the items I have lets me do anything with the briar.
I can't get to the scroll behind the bookshelf, because it is too far away for the grappling hook and none of the other items does anything here.

edit 1: I discovered you needed to use the cmd so I got a little further. You should add that info for the players who are not as familar with the game.

edit 2: I looked at the blocks hint and it didn't help

Techant: you need to combine two hints. The other is in the newspaper cutting.
