The Pit Thing is not the mothingness. Erik is the Pit Thing.
Quote-reply the above text, and you will note that both sentences are supposed to be struck through, and not underlined, but this only actually occurs when the size tag precedes the s tag.
I'm not sure whether this should actually be changed, but it seems odd.

My guess is the strikethrough is occurring before the text size is reduced, thus putting the strikethrough line distinctly underneath the text.

I don't actually know how forum code works, though, so take that into consideration.

It's a browser rendering issue, not a forum issue.

Hmm. I don't see the problem. You seem to imply that one sentence will be underlined. They're both stricken through to me.

Go figure. Once again, a browser issue (or, in my case, a browser functionality) prevents me from seeing interesting stuff.

You should see Monkey's: on Firefox, it's not only underlined, it's got another line beneath a whole line beneath it!

EDIT: It's interesting, though, that I can't reproduce this myself. It must have to do with some interesting interaction with the stylesheet. Definitely a bug.

Firefox, and it seems the strikethrough is rendering before the shrinking of the text. Or not. testingtestingtesting

StrikethroughMid-UnderlinedFar-UnderlinedDual-UnderlinedProperly UnderlinedStrikethrough+Dual-Underlined

Heh. O:-

Idea: Maybe the strikethrough is being rendered first, then being moved down dis-proportionately with the re-sizing.

But I can't reproduce it outside this forum - bizarre.

Also, I strongly recommend <span style="text-decoration:line-through"> instead of <del>.

EDIT: And I've also mentioned that the same applies to <u>, which is deprecated.
