If you click on a bomb on a pressure plate, you get the bomb's explosion radius, but not the effect of the plate. (I'm assuming this isn't intended behavior. If it is, it shouldn't be, and you can move this to Feature Requests.)

It isn't. You can get pressure plates and ortho squares, for example.

So one could use this for a puzzle? Being unable to see what a pressure plate will do until the bomb on it has exploded?

One could also use tarstuff covering walls as a puzzle - see King Dugan's Dungeon level 11 - and now in DROD 3.0 we have visibility tokens.

So you think there should be a way (optional or not) for someone to see what a pressure plate under a bomb will do? Without exploding the bomb.

I think the point was more that it's not really the direction most people would like to see things go. tar covering walls as a puzzle is pretty out of favor. Essentially, intentionally obscuring information isn't much of a puzzle -- the real puzzles are where the information you need is all in front of you and you still can't $#%@#!~! figure out what to do.

I wonder if anyone has bothered with making a tar-on-walls puzzle for TCB using the tokens - as sometimes they get quite tricky, especially if mothers are brought into the question.

Terrakept Resonant Quarce Descended Once West and Once East were my first attempts at doing this.

I'm still attempting the problem, however - I don't think those rooms are the best possible room illustrating that concept.

I've fixed this so both effects show concurrently in 3.1.0.55.
