If you're referring to your post being randomly modded, then I believe the answer to your question can be found in some of the recent drama around here.
But for a summary, there are a number of people (with many mod points or not) that are attempting to make the mod system meaningless by giving people random negative mods or otherwise using negatives to nullify positives without any obvious good reason for doing so (this may also be the case with random positive modding as well). Why this is is unclear, but it is likely that the reason why it's noticeable is because of the low activity around here, making for a lower signal:noise ratio.
In this case, the consensus was that if you do notice that a post is targetted randomly (e.g. the thread has been dormant for months and there's no apparent reason for the mod), then it is probably best simply to ignore it.
I would advise anyone else without anything further to add not to post anything; let's not have any more arguments right now if we can avoid it.
