Hint 2: It's 70's movie.
Hint 3: ]From my country..
Hint 4: The first screenshot has the name (in acronym)of the movie in latinized cyrillic, the 2nd screenshot is acronym of it's english name.

Which was enough for me to google it: The Goat Horn (Kozijat rog, or Козият рог, according to imdb).

This image might seem obscure, but it may be enough.
Incidentally, I'm getting images from DVD using Media Player Classic, and although it plays fine the images it saves are distorted. Anyone have a better solution?

The screenshots you're getting are the images exactly as they're stored on a PAL DVD (720x576) without any anamorphic distortion that may be neccessary (just calculate (576/9)*16 for 16:9 material and use the result as your new image width)- although I'm quite sure the last few screenshots I took for this thread in MPC all had the correct aspect ratio...

Then again, I always use MPC (and AviSynth through ffdshow if need be) for playing DVDs, with ffdshow's libmpeg2 as the video decoder...

Ummm... there's nothing wrong with VideoLAN Client, either - it's just that I like MPC's interface (and using ffdshow) better. :D

Then again, I've been coding for ffdshow more than watching stuff with it lately... :look

Mmm, yeah. I couldn't find a frame-by-frame function in videolan (thanks anyway), so I'll stick with MPC.
