icon Looking for beta testers (+5)  
I'm looking for testers for my first hold, and also ideas for filling up the empty rooms. It includes scripted, not drod related puzzles (like tilt maze, sliding door maze). If anybody is interested in beta testing you can downloadit from here, but I warn you, that it is in a BETA state.

Version 2:
- Filled one room
- Fixed 4th floor
- Added puzzle skipping tunnels
(will be removed in full version of course)

Lemme see...

Except for the fact that

on the 4th floor it's possible to stand on any place and wait until the guards close their swords,

and the fact that the secret rooms cannot be reached at all... (probably)

and too many of those speling errors (that I would probably correct them when al the levels of the hold are finished)

and the fact that you are going all the way down(?) and ends on the original floor...

the rooms are quite fun ;)

And if you can't think of anything more then I suggest you to remove all empty floors and put it on Holds after extensive spell checking.
Just let me know by then and I'll do the spell check for you, okay?

I like this hold. It's in the style of Pelcho's Puzzles and The Palace of Puzzles in that these are "outside DROD" puzzles in which the goal isn't killing things, but just thinking about something else entirely.

I really liked the "world evolution" puzzle, I've played a game like that before and figuring out the order wasn't too awful.

Overall, can't wait to see you complete this. :)

Chaco, I'm glad you liked the hold so far. (the world evolution puzzle was insanely hard to script, but I think it worths the effort)

Tim, thanks for testing. And to what you mentioned I can say:

They can be reached, but there empty, for now.
and of course I don't really want to put the real secret in a hold, witch you coud simply edit, to see.

I know that my englis grammer is far from perfect, so I was planing to ask for help on that myself.

Yes, you go down, because the pyramid is sunken in the desert, and I do agree, that going back to the top wasn't a good idea, but I had my reasons for doing that. Anyway I'll try to redesign that part.

4th floor's scroll tells you to stop on the doors but I think the puzzle intends the solver to stop *not* on the doors ^^:;

Also, checkpoints at the entrance to the puzzles themselves would be appreciated. It's not much, but the little bit of time between restarting and having to get to the puzzle entrance each time is irritating just a little ^^;;

Great hold so far! I love outside-the-box holds like this. Floor 2 was brilliantly conceived and wonderfully executed. For a moment I was inspired to create a "Grow" room of my own, but then I realized that I couldn't hold a candle to what you'd already sculpted. Nice work!

Hopefully the rest of the goals should be obvious. Whenever your round ends, look at the board and see if something should have happened sooner. If it needs to develop more, put it in earlier.

And definately write things out. There are only seven objects, and if you note that certain objects require triggering a certain number of turns before or after another object, things will quickly fall into place for you.

OK, floor 2 is absolutely awesome. I would have enjoyed the hold if that had been the only room. I hope this inspires someone to create something bigger and better (if thats possible), because that was just brilliant.

Thanks to all testers and for the replys. I was away for the past 2 weeks, so I wasn't able to work on the hold, but it's almost compleated.

I'm glad that so many liked floor 2. It's nice to sice, that all that hard work was worth it.

Maybe I'll make some more after I finish this hold. ;)
