:laughs: Someone just PMed me how to do the wubba/roach thing, so when my turn comes up again I'll have that covered if nobody else has done it yet.

I'm not done with your floor yet, geomatrx, but I already like the way you've chosen to deal with my bit of plot. Certainly makes it easier for writing the Beethro plot for the next eight chapters. The story itself, on the other hand... well, I hope it stays creative ^^

EDIT: Hey... I think I *remember* these rooms... or at least some of them... Geomatrx, is this part of your aborted MetDROiD II hold?

Okay Jason, you're the first person to go a second time. The new version is in the first post. Post your level here when you are done.

About all the questions about when it will be done. Here are my thoughts about it right now. The only things that would get me to end it are:

1. Lack of interest.
2. Everyone thinks that the story should end, then we'll try to wrap it up within a one or two levels.

Hee... Well, given what I've gotten of the story from what I've managed to clear of Geomatrx's level, we won't even be through the Proving Grounds until after my *next* level, so... Hopefully this'll go a while as I know I'll be interested in a third chapter.

That said, I do hope this ends up being a bigger hold than Deep Hold is. That'd be neat ^^

Dammit. Someone give me some hints for Scene 7 5S4W. I can't get any farther than hitting the first of the SE orbs and escaping the passage to it I keep getting eaten when I try to get the first of the SW orbs.

Yes. I have changed the asthetics a bit to give it a unique feel and removed to 'annoying' rooms. Apart from that, they are unchanged.

If I ever re-visit MetDROiD II, I will use this level template, but reduce the difficulty.

As for where you are stuck, I can only say you need as much distance between you and snakes as possible.

:grumbles a little: I hate trying to get away from *multiple* brained snakes at the same time...

I'm not quite sure I like it. But this I'm not supposed to judge what people add, so it goes in. We really should get back to the "Proving Grounds" story arc eventually though. That was good.

I wasn't able to mention this in time, but Scene 7: 3S3W (brained-golem rectangles) really, really needs a checkpoint somewhere. And not in the useless location it's in right now, which could only be used when you're basically done.

I just tried this room, and I can't get it either - since you can't kill the snakes until you get two golems, you have to dodge the snakes. But the hallway seems too long and I can't gain enough diagonal moves on the snake.

Overall, I think even my scene was a bit too hard for the Community Project, and this is way harder than my scene.

I have no problem with getting from the first snake down to the orb in the corner and back out with the one move to spare. It's after that point that I have issues.

No matter what I do, when I'm down in the well for the third orb (two snakes roving about), a snake will come into the well, and *every* time I move east or west, it follows me, blocking the passage out.

OK, finally finished off Geomatrx's floor... Jason, your floor has some really neat scripting to it. Also YAY Halph-kill. :D

So, um... safe to assume that there's going to be a bomb-focus floor soon?

I do hope that the Proving Grounds plotline comes back, though. Beethro needs to save the world, dammit! :D
