I think that the coders need more things in Erik's basement. This game lets us give them things that may or may not be desireable, but they have to be things, or people. Not like, dysentery. Or metaphysics. However, the Oregon Trail video game and a textbook on metaphysics are both completely acceptable.
The way this works: I will give a list of 26 things that belong in the basement. The next poster will remove at least one of the things, and replace it with one of their own things that the basement needs, or desires, so long as it begins with the same letter.
Wait at least ten changing posts before rechanging a letter's thing. That is, if Ezlo changes C:Computer to C:Cramp, Matt Cramp, then nobody can change C from Cramp for at least 10 posts that alter the list.
I will check back from time to time, and have a master list at the beginning, with the time that the list was updated, so people don't have to go through everything all the time, just the end.
First posts rule: If you're a later post changing the same letter, the first post gets it. Save yours for ten posts later, and that won't count towards the total.
Here's the list:
A--Army. With all this loot, you'll need someone to defend it.
B--Bananas. Monkeys go bananas.
C--Cramp. For Matt Cramp. See [this] post.
D--DROD v2.14, with JTRH and KDD v2 + SS holds. Do i really need to explain this?
E--Eggs. They need ammunition for their late-night "

fights.
F--Fire extinguisher. It gets pretty crazy sometimes during those fights, and they choose to throw matches sometimes. Plus, we don't want the computer being on fire for too long.
G--Greckles. In case they want to buy something online.
H--Horror films. Everybody needs a good scare sometime.
I--IPod. Music can be a tension killer.
J--Jam. Jam just rocks, everybody needs more jam.
K -- Kendo swords. See P.
L--Llamas. They should totally be able to ride around on llamas.
M--Mike Rimer. He's pretty much got to be there.
N--Nutella. Have you ever had it? This stuff is awesome.
O--Oranges. Because I'm from FL, and it'd boost our economy.
P--Puppies. See K.
Q--Qui-Gon action figure. He will calm things down after the fighting.
R--Really Big Sword (TM). Useful if a llama/zebra turns against the coders.
S--Superman. For those times when the code just becomes heavy lifting.
T--Toilet. Are you sure you want me to explain?
U--Umbrellas. Just in case it rains and they forgot to put a house above the basement.
V - Vegemite. Because if I'm going to stuck in that basement again, I'm going to have my toast like an Aussie! Plus it's the only food that the cockroaches won't eat.
W--Water. Fluid of life, is it not?
X--Xylophone (mallets included). So they can express themselves musically.
Y--Yu-Gi-Oh trading cards. They're extremely popular, right?
Z--Zeros and ones. Extremely useful (you might even say essential) when programming...
Remember, you need to remove something from this list, and add something else beginning with the same letter, and give a reason for each step. (Reasons can be silly.)
