I suggest an imperative "
Brainy"
.
Any NPC that uses this imperative acts just as a brain would; it doubles the attack of all monsters in a room, including itself, until it either dies or the imperative is cancelled. (Perhaps this imperative could take some sort of multiplier, so that if desired a tripling or pentupling of attack could be achieved also.)
Among other things, this would allow the architect to create "
brain"
monsters that are have better statistics and are harder to kill, or give out better rewards upon dying.
