Is there a way to set a room as extremely unrequired, even for mastery? I want to have a couple impossible rooms in my hold (near the start, it's extremely obvious they're impossible from even the smallest glance, and to get to them you have to do really stupid things like kill royalty.) as 'punishment' dead-ends for people who do stupid things... like kill royalty. In their own castle. While they're surrounded by guards, the only way out is through guards, and if you go through that way, you get to the impossible room (which, SURPRISE! has more guards, and these ones aren't NPCs to start with :P)

I know I could set all the characters you need to kill wrongly to get here as invulnerable, but this way is much more fun. At least, more fun for me!

Uncheck the "Required" box, uncheck the "Secret" box, and the room will not be required to complete a level or for mastery.

There sure is! Just set the room to unrequired and don't set the room as secret. That way the room will not have to be entered nor conquered in order for the blue door on the level to drop, and the master door won't care about its status. :)

(I hope you're at least going to warn the player that bad things will happen to him that he'll have to restore out of if he does stupid things like killing royalty. I think it's a courtesy since this doesn't always happen.)

... Oh, duh. Thanks for the help!

And Chaco: Yeah, I intend to have an NPC drop a mention of bad things happening to the last person who tried a couple rooms before the one place this happens, probably coupled with a sharp-tongued warning if you approach with your sword.
