With holidays coming up, I think we'll get a big slump in forum involvement. No problem--that just means I shouldn't run another one of those knucklebiter contests where you have to check in every other day or spend an intense 20 hours on it. We had two "high maintenance" contests in a row here, but December's will be pretty easy.

I'll announce the contest early in December and let it run until the first week of January. You'll be able to make your entry at any time in that duration. There will be no advantage to getting into the contest early. Participating will take maybe an hour of your time. I've got it all planned out!

Shouldn't you send this through the Archivists Association before posting something like this?

Though I'm quite glad it'll be a low-involvement contest, as it means I may actually be able to participate in it. Not like the recent contests I said I'd participate in but then couldn't find time for. And just to preemptively get me off the hook, I'm not committing to the contest yet. Not until I've already submitted my entry. ...and consulted the Archivists Association.
