icon Crash occurs when fighting mimics (+2)  
I got two game crashes today after entering combat with mimics. They occurred in Pirate Lair 3S6W and 4S4W. Both times, after restarting the game, the same mimic could be fought without a problem. drodrpg.err has this to say:
*** FIRST LOG IN SESSION 3/26/16 5:27PM ***
Assertion error in line 820 of .\BitmapManager.cpp: "pwShadowTIs[wIndex] < this->wTileCount"
Assertion error in line 4489 of .\BitmapManager.cpp: "wTileImageNo < this->wNextCustomTileNo"
Assertion error in line 4491 of .\BitmapManager.cpp: "pCustomTiles"

I'm running DROD RPG 1.2.6.295. Got them both on video (going up tomorrow).

Thelas also mentioned that this crash can happen in Fetch the Pie: Sixth Level: 2N2W, another room with oremites and mimics.

The common thread I've seen so far is that in all cases, the game has crashed when the player has fought a mimic with the player character facing West, and so far we haven't seen the crash occur with any other player sword direction.

I wonder if that's important or not?

I found a way to reproduce this regularly, but it wasn't 100% consistent. Sometimes the exact same moves worked fine.

You don't necessarily have to be facing west. Also doesn't matter if you bump the mimic or hit it with your sword.

Here's my test room. Steps to trigger possible crash:
Start a new game. Step five times south. Bump into the mimic or turn your sword SW to initiate combat.
Try restarting a few times or maybe starting a new game if nothing happens.

Haven't been able to reproduce this in 1.2.6.300 after a few minutes of experimenting.
