Under default conditions, a Young Halph monster placed into the room cannot move onto shallow water, and treats it as an obstacle. If the player pushes the Young Halph into shallow water, he dies, his sound clip plays, and the room restarts. This is all normal.
When the Young Halph is pushed into shallow water, however, it displays him as wading in that tile as he dies, which is a bit misleading since Young Halphs don't move across shallow water. I propose that he instead drown, with the same "
submerged splash"
effect that other non-wading monsters like roaches or goblins get when they drown in shallow water.
