The Second Sky : Lemming Beach : 2 South, 2 East (0)

I played about in this room whilst searching for inspiration for the tricky room to the right .....

Whilst I was doing that I was able to get one of the other lemmings in a diagonal path across the main room: I don't know how that happened. Maybe a collison with another lemming?

What has to happen to a bent-tail lemming for it to change from orthogonal to diagonal squares?

I have a suspicion that it's coming soon as part of a real puzzle.

Jacob, you must be right, thank you. I think I mistook the freed diagonal lemming for one of the orthogonal ones.

I think that when a bent-tailed lemming is unable to move into the square that it is facing directly, it turns by 45 degrees twice, then tries again (I haven't looked, but that must be really clear in the scripting).

I spent awhile in "the room that must not be named" trying to get that platform to head out diagonally with a lemming on it!

It does raise the interesting possibility of a different type of looping lemming that only turns once .....
