This hold is a beginner level's hold, that is set to You and Masters.
I am wondering if people can do voice acting in lieu of me, after recent surgery, I cannot use it.

I enjoyed the First Level :) Some fairly easy hack-and-slash using new 5.0 elements. A couple of points:

2N: Checkpoint. Surprisingly fun given my antipathy for fluff. Is the secret exit reachable? Nothing seems to open that door.
1S1E: My least favourite room, too unpredictable, I felt I just eventually got lucky. Needs a checkpoint so you can backtrack to see what's beyond the blue door in 1S, if you took the 1S2E exit first.

In The Unwanted Mountains: 1N why does the orb keep clanging every 5 moves? :?

Edit - and there are no save squares. Inexpert players such as myself very much appreciate well placed save squares :)

Edit 2 - and if you go back S into that room the guards still talk about roaches - which are gone.

Backtrack problem:
I conquered Golem's Badchambers 3N, and went to 3N1W. Just a look and come back: now I'm locked in 3N, need to restore.
I assume the same happens also if I conquer 3N1W.

Hold conquered, I did like it, quite easy even for a not so great player like me, but very enjoyable
Now I'd like to master it but.... can't find last secret room.

From restore screen, I see I'm missing a room in Valley of Lilacs. I found the secrets at

Downloaded latest version, now I'm struggling with secret room at
Click here to view the secret text

I absolutely don't get this. I need to hit all the orbs 2 times in the only available order. But southern fluff grows too much blocking access for SW orb.

Maybe it's just that... I don't understand fluff :(
I can slow it a little in the same way I would handle tar, using myself as obstacle for growth, but without being able to cut it, I cannot slow it enough.
Or maybe I'm completely blind.
Or (surely) I'm a very bad player.

Fluff is a young element in the Drod saga, is there some trick to use with fluff? some particular fluff behavior that I'm missing?
What I understand is that it grows more or less as tar does, is there something more to know to solve this room?

Budkin Estate intro text: unnecessary capitals on "Beethro's Door" and "It was surprising"

Unwanted Mountains intro text: missing space in "Mountains for". "Unka" should be capitalised. Comma in "Fine, Vonnifa." Spelling: "Rasarun".

First Level intro text: "Granny" should be capitalised. Missing single close quote after "Grand Event". Missing space in "never mind". "It's pointless anyway" should have an initial capital.

First Level 1E: Challenge is awarded when entering the cleared room.

First Level 2E: Kinda dull. Once you find a pattern that works for each spawn cycle, you just need to repeat it eight times.

First Level 2S: I understand the need to prevent the trivial solution of waiting in the room entrance, but really, why not use inactive fire traps and then activate them? Hidden scripting like this is sure to annoy the player.

First Level 1W: Could do with a better-placed checkpoint in between killing the gel mother and the tar mother. I love the way, when you enter the cleared room, the Stalwarts kill the Slayer and then crowd round the wubba trying to stab it! :thumbsup

Second Level 2S2W: Love the appearance of this room! The puzzle seems defective, though. I had a powder keg spare in the main area, so there was no need to use the ones from the top area. I could even have saved two more kegs by using the puffs to kill the roach queen.

Second Level 3S2W: Easy, but a 300-move room needs at least one checkpoint.

Second Level 2S: "Whomever" should be "whoever". Spelling: "guarantee".

Third Level intro text: "you're" should be "your".

I'm stuck on the Third Level. I've cleared Entrance, 1E, 1N1E, 2N1E, 1S, 1S1W and 1S2W, and there seems to be no way to progress to any other rooms. Unfortunately the hold isn't "Anyone Edit" (which it always should be in the testing stage).

Overall: It's a fun easy hold, a few rooms that were a little tedious but nothing too bad. Nice work! :thumbsup

With draft IV I was able to conquer what I thought it was last secret room. But it's not.

Checking restore screen, I have visited and conquered all rooms (including secret) in 12 levels (the ten listed in the opening post + The Budking Estate + Beneath the castle).

This is not enough for mastering the hold: it seems I'm missing one or more level.

There a scroll indicating "Fourth Level" in Perilous Platfom -Entrance. But there's a closed door in front of the stairs, and no orb/plate/whatever opening it.

Is there an hidden level somewhere?
(If so, my suggestion: avoid it. Looking for some very well hidden secret room can be funny. Have to look for a very well hidden level entrance it's not. Just a matter of taste.)

In First Level 1E, I think you need an End command after the Challenge Completed command. Otherwise, the challenge completed text appears every time the room is entered.

Second Level 2S: Typo (spelling should be "guarantee")

I'd like to note that there is not a secret room at Third Level 2S2W, even though it's possible to reach the southern exit of Third Level 1S2W by destroying the southeast briar root.

Additionally, the stairs in Pits Below 1W can be accessed by taking the platform over to them, and they end the hold. The architect might want to put walls around those stairs.
