I was thinking of leaving my XBox running during the day to host a shared world. And then people could join and we'd try to create the first level of KDD using Minecraft as an editor. Or maybe just take it one room at a time. There'd be no special coordination other than what arises naturally.
Thoughts on making KDD in Minecraft...
* run the world as "
peaceful"
with no monsters, and no PvP.
* I think it is more fun to build when you have to mine your own materials.
* we can find a cool seed that uses a DROD word like "
drod"
or "
beethro"
as the basis of the world.
* one square in the drod world is 1-to-1 with one square in the minecraft world.
* when we are all done, we can make some "
tour"
video
* open world times are roughly 4am to 8pm PST, M-F, and I'll keep it up more than that if it doesn't interfere with my other habits.
Would anyone be interested?
