Hey look!

Another war hold!

Not a lot to describe here -- war is pretty much all about smiting. If you like the war series, there's plenty to like in this one. If you hate the series, this one is unlikely to change your mind.

I'm sort of in the middle. Like olives or Oreos, they're a sometimes treat for me.

This one is a bit easier than previous ones, although it does contain several difficult rooms. I give it a 7 for fun and 5.5 brains.

Not much to say about this one. There's some hacking and slashing action.

Speaking as someone who has already conquered this hold, I will say that I think the most difficult (and most interesting) rooms are in the first level. There are several levels after the first that mostly contain rooms that aren't as strategically difficult or interesting.

High scores, as usual, will probably be reasonably contentious with plenty of room for improvement.

I rate this one 6 brains and 6 quality.

If I'm not mistaken, there's a backtracking problem in "try: 3S". Specifically, if you leave out the east exit, you remain a golem and can't take the tunnel again.

...oh you're right. I'd never even realised that tunnels work for custom player roles if and only if the player has touched a power token, or killed a monster. Spent a good few minutes wondering how the golem/aumtlich can exit east, but not come back. Will keep that in mind.

Not a very serious problem (at most need to replay one room, a third of that if you used the checkpoint), but we'd probably agree to fixing it if the architect wanted to.
