So, when we decide what our moves are going to be, do we post the moves inside of [untiltime] tags with the time of 08-03-2008 3:00AM (the beginning of the first day)? Or do we choose a different date?

Negotiator question:
If I buy a Negotiator do I have to wait a day to start them working or do they start working the day I buy them?

Example: If I buy a Negotiator on day 1 can I then assign them to negotiate for a thinker say a Slayer which takes 2days. I count the day of my order as the first day of the 2 days, then count the next day as the second day. I get the Slayer on end of the second day so on the third day I am able to assign the Negotiator another job, which he immediatly starts working on.

Levels questions:
Other then level and cost there is no difference. Does this only effect them once or always and what does the level mean?

Combat Enhancer Level 2
Cost: 2000 greckles
Researcher Days: 10
Max Researchers: 3
Use: Gives a bonus 5 to all stats for all monsters and thinkers
Also level 1 includes town but the other do not, right.

Thinkers do not stack with each other. They cannot be in the same squadron.

Someone Else mentioned two things that are unclear. First, when it says bonus on the negotiator (30 bonus for negotiations) that means that you pay an extra amount daily when you are negotiating for someone.

All posts need to be in at the end of each day. So Local Time:08-04-2008 at 05:00 AM

Techant negotiators cannot start working the first day. (As you haven't paid upkeep when they are meant to work) The level is for attacking other players. The highest level will attack the next highest level.

That level on the combat enhancer is meaningless. They all stack on one another. Therefor it is best to go in order.

I pay 40 upkeep for 2 Researchers. (440)
My Researchers research Pitch and Boiling Oil (2/15).
I pay 250 to buy a Negotiator. (190)

One last thing, if for example I want to buy... say... a rock golem. Is there some prerequisite or we can buy any units any level at any time as long as we have the money and the income?

I'm pretty sure that's how it goes - as long as you have the money to spend now and the income to pay the upkeep every 2 days.

I'll second the opinion that we need clarification from Spitemaster on when exactly we should set our unhidetime tags to. Few people are agreeing and I really think our moves should all be revealed at the same time.

Sorry about the brief hiatus.

Well, this sucks. The plan was to have everyone post by Local Time:08-04-2008 at 05:00 AM. I think that we will just bump that a day to Local Time:08-05-2008 at 05:00 AM. If everyone could ajust their times to that time that would be great. Please remember to check the time on your post afterward to make sure the two times match.

Just to cover everything just asked...

There is nothing that you have to buy before anything else. (Prerequsites or anything like that)

Elsewise I hope that the next try will go better.

I did look it up and you can activate it you just risk it being lost really easy, as it has only HP's.

Yes I know different time zones but you are -5GMT and I am -8GMT and we show much more difference than 3 hours.

Okay, I realise what the problem is.

The two dates given in spitemaster's post are in localtime tags - that means they'll show up as whatever the appropriate time is in your time zone, which is naturally different for people in different time zones.

So, the idea here is to QUOTE spitemaster's post to get the GMT time he put in the localtime tags, and use that as the unhidetime tag time. That way, everyone uses exactly the same time.

I have done this now. If everyone uses the exact same GMT time, then all the unhidetime tags should show the exact same time period until the messages are revealed.

OK, several issues going on right now.

One, Techant. Although, I wouldn't recommend this move it is legal. So, no one start complaining. There are balances against this move. Techant, I would like confirmation on the placements of your negotiators. (Please also remember that makes-a-more-moola will affect all cities)

Two, Chaco. You overspent by 182... Um, so can you please fix that?

Three, Ebony. You spent 840, I don't know how that happened. Also you are not able to use your negotiators the first turn. (Because you purchase them on the same phase as you want to use them in.)

Four, Fang and Hyperme. You both didn't want to pay for upkeep on the first day. That is fine you just can't use those people(s).

Here is the chart. Anyone who didn't post don't worry just post tomorrow for two days. Because of the amount of problems I will be lax on penalties for the first few days. (Oh wait, Everyone posted. Yay!)

Crud. I was working off of the assumption that I wouldn't have to pay upkeep until the first day after I bought something.

Okay, tonight I'll come up with a different set of moves that will fall within my 500-greckle budget.
