Has this been discussed before? Sorry if I missed it I figured him and the rest of the race of the Eighth were some goblinesque (but not Goblin) race of beings, but I just noticed him refered to as a Human. Does the Eighth relate to the real world at all?

The Eighth is /not/ the real world.

Erik's never told us if it's a parallel universe or what, though. We do know that Wesley Chua and some other people visited the Eighth for research purposes, however.

It's not on TV anymore! All that's left are the DVD's of the old episodes... well, maybe they still show it on cable, but all I have is stupid broadcast TV. >_>
