Shadow of the Comet.
Always wanted to play that game but struggled to find it, and also didn't like the idea of a time limit in an adventure game.

Yup, you got it. I think it's one of those games when the time only advances after you've done the right things, like with the Gabriel Knight games - I might be wrong though. If you really want some good Lovecraftian horror though, download Anchorhead. It's a text adventure, but the writing is brilliant.

New screenshot, plus a small hint. This game was released on the PC, PS2, and the PSP. The first screenshot is from the PS2 version, but this next one is from the PC version. The main reason I bring this up, is because you might notice that the main character looks different in both of these shots. This is because when they ported it to the PS2, they made some graphical changes to the characters. Also, I can't seem to find many good shots from the PS2 version (that aren't obscured by gaming site logos, anyway), so I'll likely just use PC/PSP screenshots for now.

Yep, that's it alright. Quite a fun game, although after playing Ys: The Oath in Felghana for the PC, it's a little bit difficult to go back to.

Oh, and I don't have any modpoints, so can someone else mod Hikari up for me?

Yeah, I also hope a translation comes soon for Ys V. I've managed to play through it, but I hardly know what happened plot-wise. Anyway, you really don't need to have played any of the previous Ys games to understand Ys VI's story. It certainly enhances the experience, but it's not really necessary. There is a character from Ys V in the game (as well as one from Ys I - two, if you count Dogi), and the land it takes place in is mentioned very briefly, and that's it (as far as I remember, at least).

Ankh is correct. I've just finished it, and it's definitely worth playing.

Even though it's a German game the credits shows a lot of people from Telltale, not sure if that's a good sign.

Note: it has SecuRom, so I'm going to uninstall it very soon.

PS. I'm currently out of mod points.
