Okay, I guess it's not fun anymore - my last screenshot was from "Moto Roader" for the PC Engine (or Turbo Grafx, as you silly US of A-ians had called it), but alas it was only released in Japan it seems - the import was quite fun as soon as you assembled a bunch of up to 4 friends in front of your TV...

Aaanyway, here's a screenshot from a more recent and hopefully better-known racing game I love...

Well, now, that's easy. One of my (very few) favourite racing games ever. Unfortunately all screenies I have in mind right now are extremely trivial (At least in this forum ), so I'm not giving the answer away just yet.

Yeah, maybe that's true. I've not personally had any problems with it either. But generally, too secure copy-protection systems do annoy me. Today I tried to play one CD with my computer, and after 5 minutes of various tricks and attempts noticed a sign in the cover: "Will not play on PC/MAC"...

Anyway, here's the next pic.

OT: shouldn't you have tried playing an audio CD instead of that damaged-off-the-press crap some companies try to pass off as a music CD? I never bought a single one of those, and these "playback prevention" logos are the first thing I check for - with PC games, at least there's a chance of getting it to work...

Anyway, can't say I've ever seen the game in your screenshot...

More OT: I didn't actually buy that CD, but got it as a gift. (Hey, I said I've got something against them, didn't I?)

True. That's the Shandalar adventure from the old Microprose MTG game. I think it's present even without the expansions.

Oh, what I probably should have mentioned - the latest game in the Trackmania series is Trackmania Nations, and it's a free download unless the prospect of it still containing StarForce copy (and, in the case of an online tournament game like it, cheat and/or hacking) protection scares you off...
