Oddly, I did that anyway, so I fixed it entirely by accident. Go me.

Well, that fixes all of my bugs, then, I guess, but I'll give it a day for anyone else to go huaaaargh you suck at the hold building I found another bug before I upload it again.

I think I've fixed mine. 1N now forces you north before you can do anything useful if you block the snake with a golem, and 1N1W has an extra layer of doors which I think stops you from killing the guards.

The old 1N1W is now the completely optional 1N2W and has green doors; it'll be interesting to see how many people manage it once CaravelNet can record scores. I'm not sure I'll be in that group any time soon, though.

[Edit: I've just added an extra checkpoint in 1N1W so people can restore later to play 1N2W. If whoever grabbed the hold in the last couple of hours was Chaco, grab it again please. ]

I'm not sure how to take this, but in case anyone (else) feels I'm trying to make a point or something, let me say this: I'm simply beta testing. This compilation is going to end up on the Holds board like any other hold, and should be tested. Note that I waited till after the results before posting it, while the two conquerable rooms in my own hold had already been pointed out before the voting. What's more, replaying 19 9-room holds is a pretty big job, which is where most of my weekend's playing went, while I was dying to get on with Beethro's Teacher. So basically, I was trying to be helpful and make a contribution in the form of testing, nothing else.

I'm being sarcastic about the suck part--As you've said, you're just casually going through, so if anyone else caught something you might have missed, it gives me a bit of time so I'm not repeatedly uploading the same hold with the inconvenience and the irritation and the NICE LADY.

I'd just like to ask everybody to please attach your fixed holds in the Architecture thread (linked to in sig) so that I can find them all in one place.

Also, if anybody would mind sorting the scores from top to bottom so I can give places in the hold, that'd be great too. My compiler is lazy.

The panic rises when I start to think about all the tasks I've probably forgotten about and still need to complete. Somebody is going to walk up to me and say I was supposed to repair a hole in a parachute or something like that. And I'll realize that I have no idea what they're talking about but obviously I was supposed to do it. I should probably start asking people to prove that I was supposed to do things, so I don't get taken advantage of.
