This is one of those challenges that is actually a subtle hint for getting the main solution done easier - that is, since you don't
need the middle yellow door, that must mean that the lower-left and lower-right doors are in a sense more useful than the middle door.

One of the main reasons so many rooms in this level have checkerboard floors, is to make it easier to trace diagonal lines, and thereby see what squares gel babies can get access to.
Particularly, you might notice that there's a diagonal line directly from the northwest side of the lower-left yellow door to the northwest side of the crumbly wall:
However, in order to set that up, there is an even more useful diagonal line...

namely, from the west side of the southeast door, to the southeast side of the crumbly wall.
This is enough to help you cross the room from east to west.
