"Better smite than die" is a good one, not least because, well, it's kind of the point of the game.

The others are just kind of regular proverbs that have been forcibly made relevant to DROD, when they really aren't and probably shouldn't have been.

"All paths lead to Lowest Point" is kind of nice - it ties in well with... events... in the game.
