I was watching the news last week and I saw that there is a new style out. A Roach Brooch. Crazy to think, but it is possible to get. You can buy it from a guy off the Internet. It is a roach with plastic gems all over it to make it look nice. It is then attached to a chain so that it doesn't get away. Yes, they are alive.
I couldn't find a picture of it from my own TV station's web site, but I found one here:

I guess that the big problem would be that they could never use Dungeon Roaches... mainly because they are larger than people.

Ouch... where will they put Swarovski gems (which are glass, not plastic, btw) next?

Poor roaches...

(As if the head of Swarovski wasn't making enough silly headlines around here with her being engaged to our finance minister and her proving several times in the last few months that she's not the brightest gem in the box, so to speak... )

What if it dies? Like if you accidently squish it or something. You'd be left with a dead cockroach on a chain. Not a look I see catching on. Immaculately dressed roach or not.

why on earth would anyone buy them?

i have more then enough roaches at home, and im doing my best to KILL THEM ALL

at least mine have a quick and relativly painless death.

There are four thoughts that make me physically shudder if I think about them intently. One of them is:

(DON'T click on the secret tag unless you're sure. It's not offensive, just very "ugh".)

Now I'm more inclined to bring an roach or an ant outside. I don't know if they'll be able to apapt, but mercy killings are just not my thing unless I'm imbued with epinephrine.

to me, the only experience of roaches is in DROD.

There are roaches everywhere because they can survive in any environment. After a nuclear holocaust they will rule the Earth. Maybe eventually they will have a computer game in which a roach armed with a really big sword kills humans by the hundred.
