The Holdfinder (+2)

And here is the... (drums)... the Holdfinder !

What is this ?

The Holdfinder is a hold search tool that helps you to find the hold which will fit best to your wishes. Just input your desires with the sliders and then press "Find my hold !" and the 3 best results will show up. The points indicate how much the hold fits.

140-160 : Almost Perfect fit
130-140 : Good fit
120-130 : Quite Suitable
110-120 : Suitable
100-110 : Okay
90-100 : Inaccurate
70-90 : Very Inaccurate
50-70 : Very very Inaccurate
<50 : Fits best to your wishes but dosent fit !

Feel free to post comments & bugs here.

Update from V0.91 to V0.92

--> 20 holds in holdstats.txt now (+5).
--> Window has now a senseful caption
--> Improved the rating system

What will improve in next time :

--> Hold list will be bigger !

Ooops... the file should contain :

Holdfinder.exe (The Programm)
HoldFind.frm (Form)
Holdfinder.vbp (Project)
Holdfinder.vbw (Workspace)
holdstats.txt (Database)

Ill check it... remember that holdstats.txt should be in the same folder than Holdfinder.exe. If that doesnt fix it, please post what the programm exactly "says" (Maybe you need MS-common controls 6)

i downloaded it once on my other comp and it worked fine but now it doesn't work and there's always this stupid "Revemu" thingy

"Revemu" ? Arr.. crab ! It also works well on my PC and my fathers laptop, but it dosent work on my fathers PC. I dont know why.... Can annybody give me tips ?

Well, it doesn't work in WINE, but I can tell you that you spelled my name wrong. "Fisher", not "Fischer". Don't feel bad - I have that happen about 4 times a month to me.

And while I saw the basic structure of the holdfind.txt file and was tempted to add more to it, another commitment will probably strangle me to death. Sorry!
