Am I allowed, for illustrative purposes, to make some puzzle examples in the editor and use screenshots of them in an article?

Can this be done in any version of DROD or just AE?

Hi, Jacob! Yes, that's fine. I'd say what you're describing falls under fair use.

DROD might be the only game in the world that is okay with that. AFAIK, some person tried to do the same with Doom, and there were problems. The argument was that sure, fair use, but then again, company logo, marketing, and other legal shenanigans preventing from the fair use
