Full disclosure: with DROD tunnel vision turned on I thought the whole area between the hot tiles was inaccessible
at first - and I swear I nearly made it .... but over to the experts.

Yes it's possible. I actually thought it was harder but it's just a matter of going around a bit.

Thanks - I was so keen to rush on and see the second sky that I only logged the challenge: seems to me the room would be slightly better if that central part were all pit with brains on islands.
